Hunter Mountain is located approx. 2.5 hours NW of New York City, and 1 hour SW of Albany, in the northern Catskill Mountains of New York State.
From the northbound or southbound New York State Thruway I-87, take exits 20 or 21, and expect a ride of approx. 45 mins to Hunter Mountain.

Amtrak operates routes between Manhattan's Moynihan Trail Hall and Hudson, NY -- with one-way travel typically scheduled for 2 hours; for Amtrak schedules and information, visit their website. ***Ride-share services are NOT widely available in the Hudson area. Call or text H Transport at 518-577-5388 to inquire about taxi pricing and availability for rides which take approximately 1 hour one-way.***
Metro-North Railroad operates routes between Manhattan's Grand Central Terminal and Poughkeepsie, NY, with one-way travel typically scheduled for 1.5 hours. Ride-share services are more widely available in Poughkeepsie; consider booking ahead on Uber or Lyft to Hunter Mountain at 64 Klein Ave., Hunter NY 12442.
