Hunter Weather Forecast

Friday, February 21

Good morning skiers and riders!

Today will be brisk and cold with a few clouds most of the day. We expect a high of 7, low of 6 at the Summit.  Real feel is -14, so add extra layers for warmth. Facemasks are recommended. Currently, winds are blowing from the NNE at around 20 mph.  Storm signals continue most Thursday/Sunday's through the end of the month. No significant warmth in sight but there are some indications of a couple warmer (not very warm) days to finish February/start March.

Thanks to our amazing snowmakers and groomers, we will have 58 trails open this morning, serviced by 7 lifts and two carpets. Our groomers are hard at work to open up new trails in the coming days.

Be advised that skiing closed trails will result in loss of your skiing pass. Be safe, and ski and ride open terrain ONLY!

Up Hill Travel is permitted via Mossy Brook to Herald Square to Lower Crossover to Eastside Drive to Summit. Uphill travel is only permitted from 5am to opening and you must ski down the same route you come up. Remember, you do assume all risk and trails are not maintained for uphill travel. For the full Up Hill travel policy, visit Huntermtn.com/uphill.

Come join us for a great day at Hunter Mountain!
