Hunter Weather Forecast

Monday, March 3

Good morning skiers and riders!

Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 28, low of 10 at the Summit. Current real feel is -9, so layer up for warmth. Face masks are highly recommended today. Winds are blowing from the NW at around 11mph.  Temperature moderation begins on Tuesday ahead of the incoming storm system. Rain expected for the majority of the event with 1-1.5" possible. Cold crashes in behind which may change precipitation over to snow briefly, and then a hard freeze expected Thursday night into Friday. Cold through next weekend. Warmer trend may come in briefly for middle of March (12-17 ish).

Thanks to our amazing snowmakers and groomers, we will have 57 trails open this morning, serviced by 5 lifts and 1 carpet.

Be advised that skiing closed trails will result in loss of your skiing pass. Be safe, and ski and ride open terrain ONLY!

Up Hill Travel is permitted via Mossy Brook to Herald Square to Lower Crossover to Eastside Drive to Summit. Uphill travel is only permitted from 5am to opening and you must ski down the same route you come up. Remember, you do assume all risk and trails are not maintained for uphill travel. For the full Up Hill travel policy, visit Huntermtn.com/uphill.

Come join us for a great day at Hunter Mountain! Â
